IP CamView Help
Main view
(1) The main view proivdes a list containing all cameras you added. By clicking one of the cameras in the list you will be redirected to the camera viewer.
(2)You can easily reload all cameras at once by pressing the button in the upper left corner.
(3) The navigation is located on the left hand side of the screen.
Navigation
The navigation leads you to different sections of the IP CamView applicaiton.
Home The start page of the application.
Add Camera Offers a form for creating new cameras. (You can only add 2 cameras if you are using the free version.)
Settings The settings page allows you to customize the size of the camera tiles on the main view. (Full version only)
Support This entry opens a new mail for sending us a support request.
Help Displays this page.
Privacy Policy Displays the privacy policy.
Add Camera
The add camera view offers various option for a first configuration of your camera.
First enter a name for your new camera (1). This name will be displayed in the main view and the camera viewer.
After selecting the appropriate manufactorer (2) you can choose between all supported models (3). If you do not find your manufactorer or model try the option "Unknown" or contact our support.
In order to be able to connect to the camera you need to enter it's URL or hostname and port depending on the selected model (4).
Username (5) and password (6) are optional depending on your camera. Also the selection of a channel (7) depends on your model.
If the entered information is valid a live preview may be displayed after clicking "Refresh" (9).
Camera Viewer
The camera viewer displays a live stream from your camera (1).
Depending on your model different controls and settings will be displayed on the right side of the screen (2). These can, among others, be predefined positions, controls for moving the camera or a volume controler. (Full version only)
The app bar offers additional functions for your camera (3) like refreshing the camera, taking a snapshot or switching to fullscreen. If your camera supports sound you can enable and disable it here. In order to edit or delete the currently displayed camera select "Edit camera".
Edit Camera
This view offers the same options as the add camera view. In addition you can delete the camera by selecting "Remove camera" from the app bar at the bottom of the screen (1).
